From Bros to Brews

Here's something you don't see every day: staff from Yorkshire Tea treating Matt Goss (yes, him from Bros) to a cup of tea outside Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.

Maybe we should explain.

If you've been following us on Facebook or Twitter you'll know that Little Urn and his brew crew are currently touring the USA, on a mission to bring Brits abroad a proper brew. At the moment, we're in Vegas, because the state of Nevada has some of the hardest water in the world, the perfect place for us to treat people to our Hard Water blend. And because Matt does a regular show at Caesar's Palace (which is fast making him one of Vegas's brightest stars), we took the chance to meet up with him.

Our Heidi and Liz spent the afternoon having a chat over a brew, and asking the questions our followers had sent in via Facebook and Twitter. Here's just a few of the answers he gave to the questions you suggested:

Kirsty on Facebook asked how he takes his tea and whether he had a favorite cake or biscuit?
Matt said: "I like it with milk and one sugar, not too strong, not too weak. It's got to have a good red colour. I really like Battenberg Cake (it's hard to get it in Vegas) and I like to break it up and eat it bit by bit. I loves chocolate digestives too, but you've got to dunk them. Sometimes, if you're sat with a mate, you dunk so many you get through a whole pack!"

FlossyMcQ on Twitter wanted to know if he still wears bottle caps on his shoes:
Matt said: "Oh my goodness, I must get asked that question at least four times a day! No, I don't do that any more."

Sarahfairgrieve on Twitter wanted to ask when would he be back in the UK for a gig?
Matt said: "I recently did a gig in London but I'm putting a tour plan together at the moment, so check www.mattgoss.biz for more news and updates."

Not only did we get to ask these questions, but Heidi and Liz also talked to him about how coming to America changed his life, what it was like to cook under Gordon Ramsay in Hell's Kitchen, and we even discovered he's written a children's book! "I thought I'd be really embarrassed," said Liz. "But actually we enjoyed every minute of it!"
